login as root, and mkdir /home/MyHomeDirectory
perhaps the user you added(or the program you used) failed to make a home
directory, use the 'adduser' script. most unix systems will automatically
dump a user in / if they have no homedirectory or if it is invalid, maybe
debian doesn't though i dunno.
