Re: Running X on a Toshiba Tecra 8000



Afraid you need an update to the Xfree binaries. Go to
'http://www.debian.org/~vincent/' the Xfree86 3.3.6 dist by Vincent fits 
on top of Slink just fine. You can use 'dselect' and point it at the
directory containing these deb's. Hope this helps...
BTW I would avoid upgrading to 'potato' just at the moment if others
suggest this as it severly broken at present. The 3.3.6 for Slink worked
well for me and doesn't break slink.
