Cron running 6 hours early

After upgrading my machine to Potato, my cron jobs now run at GMT time. I have
my machine set to local time:

hwclock is local
system time is local
in /etc/defaults/rcS: GMT=""
tzselect is set to US Central time

I have my cron.daily jobs set to run at 4am while I am asleep, but now they run
at 10pm while I am awake.

Thank you for the help,
