Hi Joseph,
I am in fact using sawmill on slink as I write this. The .debs have
been kindly built by Devin Carraway and are available at
http://www.devin.com/sawmill/
Just download the .debs and install (as root) by
dpkg -i [name of deb]
make sure that you get all four of the debs and that they are of the
same version!
