problem with dependency issues: qmail and exim
Hi, another question for anyone out there who might know where I can get an
answer. I am using potato, and have built and installed qmail here on my
machine. My problem is that whenever a package requires a mail support (ie:
sendmail, exim etc.) I run into problems. Is there a way for me to set
something up in a config file or something that will tell dselect/apt/dpgk
that I have/am using qmail and it should satisfy my mail delivery system
requirement?
Also, I am running into a similar situation where if I install mutt, I also
have to install zmailer. I dont want to install zmailer, but it seems as
though I don't have a choice. If I remove zmailer, mutt also gets removed.
Thanks for any tips!
