Ok, here is #1: GOTO POTATO NOW YOU FOOOOOOLLLLLL!

I have been running "pure" potato for over 3 weeks now without any
problems. The only problem I have had so far is when I once tried to
apt-get upgrade my system over a weekend and the updated basepasswd
package had a bug in one of its (pre/post)install scripts that caused
dpkg to fail when installing it. That version of basepasswd was fixed
immediately once the bug was fixed but took some time making it to the
Debian mirrors.

Other than that minor glitch, potato has been very stable for ME. YMMV.

Depending on how you use your Debian system and for what purpose you may
or may not find problems in certain packages. YMMV.

I now (apt-get) update my potato system once a week only.
