Please Help!!! BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: ...

Hey all..

I have been running Debian now for years! Absolutly love it! About 2 weeks
ago I rebooted my system after a 60 day uptime and got the following error
when I typed 'startx'. I'm running Debian 2.1 on this system and a very
few small packages from unstable.

[timberwolf:adren:~$]> startx
BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: dynamic-link.h: 53: elf_get_dynamic_info:
Assertion `! "bad dynamic tag"' failed!

I have scanned through the mailing lists for anything which could tell me
how to resolve this. I have also searched the web via 2 or 3 different
popular search engines aswell. I have found a few list archived postings
about this but never any answer.

Please.... ANY help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. I use
this system for alot of my work and Windows is just simply a pain in the
ass to go back to any longer than needed.
