Of course you can! It's not a cake walk though. Back in the "old" days
that's how we had to do it, generate our own, and the
XFree86-Video-Timings HOWTO was what everyone used to figure out their
mode lines. Check it out via the link:

All is answered in the aforementioned HOWTO.

It's gotta be there somewhere, as usual though, the trouble with
Windows is finding it. It's probably buried in registry at about the
10th level.

Read the HOWTO and if you follow it you should be able to gen your own
mode lines.
