Re: debian
Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file to include:
deb http://www.debian.org/~vincent xfree-update main
Now run the following two commands as root.
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
This will upgrade your machine to the 'unofficial' version of XFree86
Ver 3.3.5 for slink (Debian 2.1)
It have been using the updated X for about a month now, and no problems
so-far.
