Weird Keybord in X and broken libc6?

	Why does my backspace key occasionally cease to work in X (except
in xemacs)? And how do I prevent this and fix it when it does happen?

And whats up with libc6

What should I do about this? Its annoying not to beable to use apt because
libc6 is has errors. :(.
