I stand corrected. Are there any sample macros, perhaps with the
Debian version of slrn?

Can you do this interactively? ie without exiting slrn to edit a text
config file?

I once looked at this and found it was not possible to emulate mutt
bindings in slrn, as mutt has three distinct modes: group index, message
index, and message. slrn only has two distinct modes: group index and
message (ie the last two have been combined into one).

It is not possible to have "q" mean one thing while displaying the
message index full screen and another while displaying a message. At
least not that I could tell. I could be wrong.
