rtl8139 in slink(again)
2.0.36 kernel works great. (has a rtl8139 module)
i wish i knew why O'Reilley (sp?) chose 2.2.12 to be the default
kernel..the other 2.1r3 slink cd i have (burned from downloaded
ISO) defaults to 2.0.36(i believe)
btw besides this minor hiccup that book/cd combo rules. even tho i know
debian pretty good..its still a very interesting book, and the CD is the
most "stable" ive had thus far, their mastering process must be much
higher quality then the other stuff i've seen. did not get 1 curropted
file, not 1 I/O error..nothing! was amazed and happy :))
