Re: ppp not working

after issuing the updatedb command, a locate pppd command yields the following:

/usr/doc/isdnutils/examples/default/ipppd.DEVICE.gz
/usr/doc/isdnutils/ipppd
/usr/doc/isdnutils/ipppd/notes.ipppd.gz
usr/doc/isdnutils/ipppd/readme
usr/doc/isdnutils/ipppd/readme.linux.ORIG.gz
usr/doc/isdnutils/ipppd/readme.RADIUS.gz
/usr/man/man8/ipppd.8.gz
/usr/man/man8/pppd.8.gz
/usr/sbin/ipppd
/usr/sbin/pppd.ppp.pam
/usr/sbin/pppd
