Hi Jerry

First you configure the link, using say pppconfig, then you must bring up the link. For example you can try pppd call my_isp
(supposing my_isp is the profile defined in pppconfig). Once you have this working, you can then try setting up auto-connection (see
the demand option of pppd and/or the diald daemon).
