I keep a local copy of the Contents-{arch}.gz file on hand for such
searches, this is what the web interface searches.

% zgrep make-kpkg /var/lib/dpkg/Contents-i386.gz
usr/man/man8/make-kpkg.8.gz                             misc/kernel-package
usr/sbin/make-kpkg                                      misc/kernel-package
