I've tried looking for the X-Server but all the processes from my previous
session (the one that hung) were no longer listed under ps or top. So
I've tried grepping for X but without any luck.
I know that in Irix, we can restart a hung X-Server by using the
"gfxstart" and "gfxstop" commands. I've searched for similar commands
under Linux, but can't find any. Does anyone know how to restart X under
Linux in a more civilised way? :))
