Dear all, My Machine is installed with Debian 2.1 and have a 4X cdrom. When i want to mount the cdrom with "mount /dev/cdrom /mnt", a error "mount: special device /dev/cdrom does not exist" is shown. I have checked the boot log (/var/log/kern.log) , It shows me that "hdd: HITACHI 4X CD-ROM drive, 128kB Cache". Does it mean the cdrom is detected ? How can i fix this ?? Thank you! Wilson
