I am trying to install Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 on a Dell Inspiron 7000 with a 14.1GB hard drive. Currently, Win98 has half of it and I am hoping to give Linux the other half. During the partitioning part of the installation process, however, cfdisk tells me, "yes, Win98 has a 6740MB partition, but there is only some 800MB free!" So, uh, any suggestions? Thanks in advance. - d.
