Oops! Somehow I missed where it says I should've downloaded the archive
first.   What do you mean, exactly, when you say "any ftp server there?" 
I've had no trouble connecting with other sites.  I did try entering
"ftp.netscape.com", but slink calls that an "invalid command." Thanks--
