  Just realized why i didn't use your  method.
I didn't want to run the locate every 6 hours!  As I do most of 
my file loads during the day, why run it overnight.  Besides, that was
when I was in the [just from] Windoze mode.  I didn't 'dare' let the
system run 24/7, then.
