I am beginning to realize that one of the biggest difference (drawback) of Debian versus Caldera or SuSE is the abscence of a centralized file (i.e. /etc/rc.config like in SuSE) to hold a bunch of environment variables that define the behavior of the scripts in /etc/rc*.d Is this a design intention, is this a goal ? -=Francois=-
