Follow symlinks

Hello,

I saw on the Web a discussion about forcing mirror
to follow the symlinks and actually download the
files they point to (especially useful if you want
to, for example, mirror debian/unstable). Alas, I
can't get it to work. My package file looks like this:

  package=debian-unstable
        comment=Debian unstable
        site=ftp.opensource.captech.com
        remote_dir=/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386
        local_dir=/var/debian/unstable
        recursive=true
        flags_recursive+L

But I keep getting the same warnings as before:

  compare directories (src 3214, dest 1879)
  No files to transfer
  Not symlinking admin/alien_6.43.deb ->
../../binary-all/admin/alien_6.43.deb
  Not symlinking admin/dpkg-repack_0.24.deb ->
../../binary-all/admin/dpkg-repack_0.24.deb
  ...

This is after all the regular (non-symlink) files have been
mirrored. What am I missing?

If you reply, please CC me. Thanks for any help,
