I *think* this is /var/lib/dpkg/info/dotfile-rtin.list ... see what's
going on with that file.

You might be able to edit /var/lib/dpkg/status to convince dpkg that
dotfile-rtin isn't installed,  and then dpkg -i it again.  Note that I
don't think I've ever actually done this,  so making backups (or seeking
further advice) would be prudent here.
