Re: Installing Bo Debian on a 386 2 meg RAM?

I have sucessfully installed Hamm on a 386 w/ 3M RAM.

I down loaded a disk image from somewhere on debian.org
look for a disk image refering to "low memory".

This disk is bootable and allows you to partition your
drive (using fdisk not cfdisk) and add swap. If you
get all this worked out (patience is required on a 386 :) )
It then it will continue using the "rescue" disk and base
disks.

one caveat: you MUST leave room for a SECOND swap partion
to be set up during the main install. The install will fail
if you cannot activate a swap partion, even if you have a large
active swap from the preliminary set-up.

If you can't locate the disk image email me and I can send you
the files.
