Well, you could *try* messing with stty on the modem port. Changing
from cs7 to cs8 or vice versa... Or, better yet, firing up minicom, and
playing w/ the parity/character-size (change between P and Q in the comm
params) there, and trying the dialout from there also... It's what I'd
try first, but I could be wrong! ;-)
