Looks like you have to configure your SMTP
listener to accept mail for localhost
what SMTP listener do you use?

for sendmail add localhost to /etc/mail/sendmail.cw
for exim edit exim.conf someware - man exim
for smail - [s]mailconfig will ask you for a list of
acceptable domains
