wvdial
I'm trying to connect to my isp using my notebook. I have a zoom pcmcia modem that wvdial recognizes and sets up just fine. When I type wvdial and hit enter it dials...logs in...starts ppp daemon, but after 2-3 seconds it says PPP daemon has died! (exit code = 1) Disconnecting at ......
So basically it looks like it has connected. It sounds like it has connected. Then just as I am about to proclaim victory it does the above then tries 5 seconds later and repeats over and over till I Ctrl-C or kill the program. Thanks in advance for any help
