I don't know what is written at the gnome site, but if you get a line 
to add to sources.list like

deb http://www.debian.org/~jim/debian-gtk-gnome/gnome-stage-slink unstable main

Then you can see the URL there. Just use some programm to get the
files from the
server.
http://www.debian.org/~jim/debian-gtk-gnome/gnome-stage-slink/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/
in this case. With Linux, I would use wget to do this.
