Re-check /etc/lilo.conf
Check that what you are trying to load is where lilo.conf thinks it is
re-run /sbin/lilo
As a last resort why not read /usr/doc/lilo/Manual.txt.gz, which you
haven't done, because the answer is in there.
Questions such as this, without prior research, do not do justice to your title.
