>From this I would think it probably is /dev/sbpcd. You will have to
recompile your kernel to select this. In 'make menuconfig' choose:
CD-ROM drivers (not for SCSI or IDE/ATAPI drives)
as well as:
[*] Support non-SCSI/IDE/ATAPI CDROM drives
[*] Matsushita/Panasonic/Creative, Longshine, TEAC CDROM support
This assumes you are using a 2.0.x kernel. In 2.2.x, you can use a
module.
You might also be able to use the ALSA drivers for this.
