Help: Repeat Error in inst.

Sorry for what may seem to be a stoopid Q.

But, I am trying to install deb on a secondary HD, the HD has the files
need for install.  + I am booting from that drive, D:

But after expanding linux I got this message repeated for 3/4 hour, before
I rebooted:

hda: unexpected_intr: status=0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error}
hda: unexpected_intr: status=0x41 {DriveStatusError}

What does this mean?

Also how do I specify the HD that deb will be installed in?
