Re: Netscape version?



Just so you're aware (since I don't see this mentioned here), you can
also install Netscape (Communicator versions 4.06, 4.07 or 4.5)
completely from deb packages. These are all glibc2/libc6 versions.

They are in both the slink (frozen) and the potato (unstable)
distributions (non-free/web). The completely "free" versions are named
communicator-smotif...... as opposed to communicator-dmotif......

Since the package has a lot of dependencies that will not necessarily be
installed on a new system, the best way to get it would be to aim
dselect (preferably using the apt access method) at a Debian ftp site.
That will insure you get all the packages it depends on. There are also
some optional packages like a spell checker, help etc.
