you want terminal emulation+encryption isn't it?

the best apps for this under windows are currently ssh based (don't ask me
why)

The greatest one is called putty, it's just a single file (180k)and is
like an xterm (also copy&paste), it also works as an usual telnet based
terminal emulator

you can get it from my ftp server ftp://pusa.uv.es/pub/login
