ipmasq problems

Ok, I've gotten my network up, but I can't seem to get ipmasq to work.
I've followed the mini-howto and added the appropriate lines to my
/etc/init.d/network file. However, everytime it tries to run ipfwadm
it croaks. Here are the commands, and the errors:

ipfwadm -F -p deny
  ipfwadm: setsockopt failed: Invalid argument

ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
ipfwadm: setsockopt failed: No such file or directory

I'm running 2.1.131 on a mixed hamm/slink/potatoe system.

TIA,

Chris
