33k6 mgetty direct PPP

Hi!

I'm getting strange random delays with a modem attached to a
machine connected to the internet. Both of the machines are Debian 2.0
and I have appended a series of 'ping' stats. One of the modems is a
K56Flex and the other is a V.34

Does anybody know what are the correct settings for setserial ?
spd_* ?

Thanks a lot for your help.
