Hmmm. I'm running th following:
bash: dpkg -l | grep dosemu
ii dosemu 0.66.7-2 The Linux DOS Emulator
and from DOSEMU:
C:\> ver
DR DOS Release 6.0

and I have these redirected drives:
C:\> lredir
Current Drive Redirections:
E: = LINUX\FS\var\lock\dosemu\ attrib = READ/WRITE
F: = LINUX\FS\home\chuck\ attrib = READ/WRITE

I also have my partitions setup this way:
bash: mount
/dev/hda1 on /dos type umsdos (ro)
and this is my /etc/dosemu/conf:
bash: grep ^disk /etc/dosemu/conf
disk { partition "/dev/hda1" }
disk { image "/var/lib/dosemu/hdimage.first" }
and I'm booting from "C:"
bash: grep ^boot /etc/dosemu/conf
bootC
