This is not a hard rule either. In fact, I have a machine that has both
exim and smail on it. Exim listens to port 25 and collects inbound mail.
If it detects a message that is destined for a site that I service by
uucp, it is handed off to smail for routing and spooling to the proper
uucp neighbor.
