True enough. But starting from Slink (Debian 2.1) onwards,
the kernel sources shall not be shipped unpacked; instead, they are
in the file "/usr/src/kernel-source-`uname -r`.tar.gz"; this handles
pedantic objections about mutability of Debian packages and how
easily dpkg could remove the source package, as well as saving space
on disk until one needs to use the sources.
This shall also enable us to unpack the sources into
/usr/local/src, which is where all discerning people unpack it into
