On my slink system:

[olet@apollo] ~> grep xterm-debian /usr/doc/xbase/README.Debian | wc -l
      8

(meaning: xterm-debian is mention in eight lines in the file)

It also points you to http://master.debian.org/~branden/xsf.html

Don't know about hamm, though.
