I got my PPP connection to Demon to work, eventually. My experience is on line at http://www.rano.demon.co.uk/demon.html. (I'm not sure it helps particularly with the problems described in this thread, however.) I got get-news to work yesterday, but I'm still working on nntpsend, so if anyone has any advice on that I'd be interested ... Edmund
