	What is the output of 'cat /dev/sndstat' show?  Can you do 'insmod
sound' and if so, does 'cat /proc/modules' confirm the sound driver as
being installed?

	I use my mouse in PC (MouseSystems) mode.  Make sure your XF86Config
selects MouseSystem in the input section.
