Wrong passwords produce the "link is not 8-bit clean" message from pppd. For some reason improper authentication doesn't (can't?) get reported as such. I missed the beginning of this thread, so perhaps this has been mentioned. Good luck, -- Pete Harlan harlan@pointofchoice.com
