boot probs with aic7xxx driver... urgent...

Hi folks.

We've a shiny new server and the resc1440 image from the current
diskset is freezing on boot while "downloading sequencer code ...
413 instructions loaded" ...

It's an Adaptec AIC 7880...

Please, if anyone has an idea, please tell me.
