I managed to mess up an install because the 2.0 install disk didn't detect
my sbpcd CD. Anyway, I unpacked base2_0.tgz using star from the rescue
disk. I think all I did was to cd to the root mount point and do:
star < path/to/base2_0.tgz
but maybe I had to decompress it first, I'm not certain:
zcat path/to/base2_0.tgz | star
(I'm not even sure the decompressor was zcat... I'm not helping much, am I?)
