- ----THIS IS A TECH. QUESTION REGARDING DEBIAN LINUX 2.0 INSTALL , IF I
SHOULDN´T HAVE ASKED YOU, PLEASE JUST MAIL ME ANY ADDRESS WHERE I CAN
ASK, THANKS ----

Dear sir.
I´m addressing to you in a desperate look for help. I´m trying to
install Debian 2.0 from a DOS partition, preserving my old OS; I´ve
downloaded all the files, loadlin loads correctly, the kernel boots,
and I get lots of messages on my screen, however, after the partition
check that is performed on startup, the computer stays idle. I´ve
waited for a LONG time in front of that, but nothing happened.
I´ve already experienced something like this, with DOSlinux, it is SO
SLOW!!, and I don´t get why. My computer is a P55C 225 MMX with 64Mb
RAM, 2HDs(2.5 and 1.1 Gb) running Win98 with the FAT32 filesystem
(could that have something to do with my problem??)
I´d be very pleased to receive any help you can give. Thank you very
much.

PS: THE goal: Linux everywhere!!!
