Pine 4.00 for Debian.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hi.
In case someone is interested, I have just uploaded the source
for Debian pine to Incoming (i.e. .orig.tar.gz, .dsc and .diff.gz).
(Yes, unfortunately, it is still non-free software, and the license has
not changed at all from pine 3.96).
It will appear in unstable (slink) soon, in the source directory.
Warning 1: Not tested at all, but it seems to work for me.
Warning 2: There is no Maildir support. Sorry.
"Release notes for the common user:" The TERMCAP_WINS compilation option
does not exist anymore. Instead, for Home and End keys to work on the
console, you have to do the following:
* For pico, use "pico -q" (you may use an alias, for example).
* For the internal editor: add "termdef-takes-precedence" to the feature
list. This new feature seems to be hidden, so it is possible that adding
it by hand in /etc/pine.conf is the only way to do it.
Thanks.
