install of debian release on system with slackware on it
Currently running slackware 3.4 distribution on a P166 machine
with 3 hard drives. drive 1/ nt. drive 2
hdb1, hdb2 slackware root/swap partitions 500meg drive
totally used.
drive 3 hdc 3 gig, has hdc1 as a linux partition 500
meg, leaviing 2.5gig for debian.
I will create a couple of partitions hdc2, hdc3
1.5 gig total ...
Install debian unto hdc2,hdc3....
Use lilo.conf to set up addtional lilo boot. run
/etc/lilo to floppy /dev/fd0. When I boot should
have a choice of booting either into hdb1/2(slackware)
or hdc2/hdc3 debian. I forgot hdc1 is a small slackware
partition of 200meg.
See any problems with this scenario. If another scenario
is better please let me know.
