Compiling mod_jserv.c for Apache 1.3b6

I am attempting to get Java servlets running on Hamm. I have downloaded
the most recent jserv and all Hamm Apache packages.

According to the jserv README, I should copy mod_jserv.c into the Apache
src/modules/extra/ directory, add the line

AddModule modules/extra/mod_jserv.o

to the Apache Configuration file run Configure then recompile Apache.

However, the Debian distribution of Apache appears to indicate that only
the mod_jserv.c be compilied and a LoadModule line added to httpd.conf.

Is this correct? If so, can somemone let me know where I can find
instructions for compiling mod_jserv.c.

Tnx,
Nick Gilliam
