RE: Installing Debian from WindowsNT Pt. 2

Pat;
I can't put the hard drive into the Windows PC because work won't let me,
however, I did finally manage to mount the hard drive with the following
command;

Then put the drive on the Linux box, mount it with
(assuming it is the second hard drive on the second ide
controller) mount -t vfat /dev/hdd1 /mnt

I now have access to all the DOS files that were installed. My next
question is, is it possible, in simple step-by-step instructions, to set-up
LILO to dual-boot between Linux on the first hard drive and DOS on the
second hard drive on the second controller, i.e. hdd1. I plan to install
DJGPP on this second drive so I can compile and run DOS programmes with
DJGPP, a 32 bit DOS port of gcc. I'm not very interested in Windows as I
have several Windows PC's available at work already. When I finally knuckle
down and buy a PC for home, I will install WindowsNT4.0 and Linux as per
the wonderful HOW-TO's I've already seen on the subject. This is just a
special case because of the restrictions placed on me at work ( This IS a
'borrowed' PC still, I just have leeway ;-) Thank again to the list and ALL
your assistance. I have a feeling that I will soon be running Linux like an
expert and posting more solutions then questions in the near future ( I
hope)

Cheers,

     John Gay
