Thinkpad 560 and the floppy module

I have Frozen installed and compiled the floppy driver as a module
(fyi-this needs to be done on the 560 for some reason).  I can 'insmod
floppy' just fine from a prompt, but when I added a 'floppy' line to
/etc/modules and rebooted, I got the following error:

Loading modules: floppy no dependency information for module:
"/lib/modules/2.0.33/block/floppy.o"

???
